Just had a ultrasound due to pain under my right rib, mid section and a bit in my back. I thought maybe gallbladder. GP called today gall ballder looked fine no stones but radioglist saw some spot on the liver that might be mets! This very date has been three years since I finished radiation. Anyone out there with liver mets who can help out on how they were treated for them? I am praying when I have the CT next week it will not be cancer but boy am I afraid. Prays gals. Linda

sorry to have posted so many times computer just wasn't working! Thanks gals what pains etc did you have before being dx? Hummingbyrd glad to see you back and so sorry about the last round of trouble. you hold a lamp up for all of us to follow. I pray that the liver stays clear for the both of you and cure is fast on the horizon for this terrible disease. I do herbs etc but Hummer I know you are into many other things trying to keep going. I would love to email either of you in private if I may. We will see what the CT says my bloodwork was normal in Oct but we all know that can mean about nothing. God Love Linda

First of all I agree GOD IS GOOD. I had breast cancer Colon Cancer then mets from my Colon Cancer to my Liver. I had one stomach ache painful to touch and a lost of appetite. Doctors thought I was depressed from when My intestine got perforated from a colonoscopy with dilation(May 2004) that left me with a colostomy as to why my appetite had decreased. Had to convince them that something else was wrong. So they did a Cat Scan (August-2004) seen the mass had a biopsy pet scan and the rest was history. I had Surgery October 20th 2004 University Hospital Newark New Jersey, OUT of the hospital October22nd 2004. Believe me I know God is GOOD TO ME.

    Hummingbyrd -
My mother has liver mets and they aren't sure if they originated from her breast or colon. Those are the 2 they are leaning towards. may I ask where your cancer had originated from? Also, my mother tried Taxotere and she didn't respond to it. did you respond to this drug or did you receive a combination of drugs? My mother is now taking Xeloda and so far she's responding.

    Thanks for your guidance.
