Hi all: I chimed in here a couple months ago when I was having tests because my markers were bouncing. Well the cancer came back to my spine! I was floored since it was caught in early stage with no detected lyph node invovlement. So my Onc changed up some meds and had me get rid of my ovaries and yesturday I had another scan ... and don't you know while it hasn't spread it had gotten larger. Now he wants me to have radiation. The location of this tumor is on the T2 vertabra on the interior side. It is in a very bad location of an operation ... I was wondering how they would shot the radiation? Will it go through the front or back? If anyone has any experience with this let me know. I feel great right now and cannot for the life of me figure out why I have this cancer. I was first DX in 2000 when I was 41 and I thought I was doing all the right stuff! Oh well sorry to moan. Thanks for listening.

I had T12 to L2 radiated Nov 2001 and did well till Oct 2004 when it started growing again. Result was my back broke, but it's not as bad as it sounds. I still walk, not quite as gracefully, but then I never was very gracefull. LOL
That's my second bone met, first was Aug 2001 to my right arm. I just tell them to "spot weld me" and keep on going by the grace of God.
    You'll do fine!

    P.S.
I think they went through the back, the external beam rotated around the table under me if I remember correctly, but don't hold me to it I have slept since then! LOL
