MUCINOUS ADENOCARCINOMA

I am fairly new to this site. i have been diagnosed with colon cancer in Aug.2003. My pathology report is not that good. It stated I had infiltrating mucinous adenocarcimoma of the cecum moderately differentiated extending into adjacent sigmoid colon.The tumor infiltrates into the fat with numerous tumor nodules. 8/20 nodes contained metastatic adenocarcinoma. I had Lecovoran,5Fu and cpt11. Has anyone out there had the same type of chemo for this cancer? Is this mucinous adenocarcinoma different from the other cancers? Can it be detected through petscans or mri of the pelvis? Still very scared and frantic.
