Is it possible to inject chemo drugs for killing colon cancer directly into the polyp during a colonoscopy? Has this been tried? Anyone know?

Colonoscopy scopes are equipped with a tool to cut and cauterize polyps. Using that tool, the doctor actually removes the (pre-cancerous) polyp. I guess the attitude is "why treat over time with drugs that which you can totally remove today?" Sounds like a good plan to me!
