April 2003 will mark two years post treatment for me and I remain cancer free. I'd like to talk to anyone who's had successful treatments for throat cancer and still exercises. I'm terrified when I get short of breath and I'm also afraid that I will not recuperate from pain; that I will end up back in bed instead of getting stronger. Has anyone else experienced anything like this post treatment? Can you offer me insight? I am building a new life from the inside out and definitely having strength, stamina and energy is a big part of staying healthy. Blessings to you all.

I have been cancer free from throat cancer for 31/2 years and exercise a lot. We play tennis 2-3 times a week, bike ride, and hike without any problem except dry mouth. Biotene gum takes care of that.
