Hi Vicki!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! So glad you're done!!! I can tell you, the burn will heal, and eventually, the leathery feel of the skin goes away, too. That part took about 6 months for me, but the right side skin feels just like the left now. Did your rad onc give you any Aquaphor ointment? If not, buy some. If you haven't used it, it's like vaseline. I just wore an old t-shirt to bed and smeared it on thick. Once any blisters heal, you can use hydrocortisone cream 1% (over the counter), too. (They don't recommend using it on broken skin, but the aquaphor you can). Make sure you still rest when your body tells you to. I tried to go right back to full-steam again and one day, I very suddenly felt so tired I thought I was going to puke. I took a nap, and all was well. So, listen to your body, and have a wonderful time not having to stick to a daily appointment!!! Hugs, Cyndi
