I was wondering if anyone knows of a good book or web site for ways to make your body a better fighter against cancer. I've heard a lot about diet, but nothing definitive. More grains? Less red meat? Low fat? ANy information would be greatly appreciated. My thoughts are with you all.

    Dear Jayne:
I found a web site today that was very interesting. Oncology.com
I then clicked under 'nurses'--I figured the info for the nurses would be more detailed than for patients. There was an article on detoxifying the body. Very interesting. It also included some foods that help the body - the doctor's name is Keith Block. Also, I checked out tamoxifen and Herceptin under the physician's site and found out some things I had not heard before. Explained alot of the symptoms I have, and thought they were residuals from the Taxol. Hope this helps, maybe someone else has a better site on nutrition. Sometimes you can type in Google.com and use that for a search engine. Then just enter something like; nutrition and cancer; and see what you get. You can find all kinds of sites through Google; or Askjeeves.com
    May God bless you, Brenda
