Mike & Michelle are new participants from New Mexico. Mike was diagnosed with squamous cell carsinoma in February of 2000,
a full treatment schedule has been implemented. We would like any conversation.

    Welcome to the group.
    Treatment for this can be difficult and frightening, but you can beat it. Never quit fighting and you will win. Good luck.

    I also have squamous cell carsinoma (unknown primary). Study the trials. I decided on radiation only because the Cemo doesn't work will with this type of cancer. I pray they found and removed your primary.

    My husband has the same squamous cell in the tonsil, they removed tonsil and did radiation thereapy then another surgery to remove lymph nodes. That last surgery was last March and he is doing much better now. Has a terrible time with dry mouth and does everything they tell him to but it really bothers his eating. Do you have this problem?
