    Is there a lab error?

    Without prostate in place the PSA should be zero. Sometimes we read about errors in the laboratory reports. You can check reapeating the test at a reliable laboratory and if confirmed then you should look for hormonal therapy (HT).

    Can you share your story and diagnosis? What was the Gleason score? Have you symptoms? What about image exams?

    I am on HT since 2010. I also had failed RP and SRT. HT has provided me with a certain control on the advancement of the bandit. You can read my story in these links;

    Oligometastatic prostate cancer

    Recurrence seems evident already. The sequential therapy is HT or chemo. HT has lots of weapons to fight the cancer and these manage long periods of control in intermitent administration. You can also trying to locate the hidden cancer spots which could be optimous for oligometastatic treatment (spot radiation).

    You should find a medical oncologist for advice and to follow your case, of the "grade" of Dr. Myers. He can provide you the details for the oligo therapy too. Please read this;

    Can you provide the link of your 2015 thread in this forum?

    Yes

    What Vasco wrote.

    I would start hormone therapy and get another PSA test to see if the 2.1 result is 'real'.  But please have a medical oncologist go over your case right away.

    PS: Is the prior tumor on the bladder the cause?
