Smile Just got back from hospital appointment . Phred is now NED. They had mistaken tail of his pancreas for a tumour in previous scan. Thankyou for your prayers and good wishes. They must have worked!

 Hugs Melissa

    We are relieved, thanks Sue.

We are relieved, thanks Sue. Phred still has a bit of pain to deal with but hopefully it should ease off eventually if it is only from his nephrectomy. So used to being worried, terrified and sad I really don't know how I feel yet.

    Hugs Melissa

Not only is this great news,

Not only is this great news, but it also provided me with hours of amusement picturing my pancreas as a small creaturwe with a tail.

    Thanks everyone!

SmileThanks guys. Nsb a  friend suggested Phreds residual pain could be from the tail wagging! LOL. Next scan probably not for 6 months. YAY! Wishing you all great health and accurate scans!

Pancreas shifted after nephrectomy, just FYI

My husband's pancreas shifted after his nephrectomy, and was noted as such in his 6 month CT scan. So did a portion of his bowel. Must have been what happened to Phred too, hence the tail lol!

    So confused!

Thanks guys. Just had a weird phonecall from mri department from hospital saying Phred has urgent scan on Tues ordered by his urologist. Hopefully it is just something that was ordered ages ago but very confused. Doc has gone home for weekend so we have to wait til Monday to find out what they are doing now or if this is a mistake.Phred hasn't been feeling wonderful today.... this probably isn't helping to make him feel better!!
