Hello and Goodbye
I have been following since 2019. My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colerectal Cancer. Just want to say thanks to all contributors over the years. You gave me hope. I didn't post as was not sure if my husband was also looking online. Just want to say to those of you recently diagnosed that although it is tough, stay with the treatment it does hold back the cancer. My husband got 7 years. He ran out of treatment options on 28th January 2026. He passed away on 4th April 2026 in the Hospice peacefully surrounded by his family. He fought hard and he had a good quality of life up until the last year. We were able to fit in a few holidays, days out, and family celebrations. I would say to all, live your best life while you can. Thanks to all who posted positive messages of hope. Many made it to 5 years post diagnosis and even longer. Ironic site is closing down at this time. God Bless you all on your journey. X
