Recovering Head/neck/oral cavity person
Greetings,
I am writing a guide/cookbook for people like me who have had head/neck and oral cavity cancers. I wish it to be made available FREE for distribution to people who have cancer and caregivers.
I am a retired clinical registered dietitian and mental health educator for NAMI WI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
Most cookbooks are NOT written by people who have had cancer. I have the lived experience with cancer and with learning anew how and what to eat. The challenges are many: enhancing flavor without acid, excess salt, excess spice (hurts lips, interior mouth, tongue). Any suggestions for obtaining funding?
Thank you kindly, PD
