Asking for Prayer!

My father was taken by ambulance about an hour ago to the hospital. He was throwing up, dizzy, weak and white as a ghost.

He was just at the hopsital yesterday getting 3 units of blood as his hemoglobin was low again. He was scheduled to go back today to finish getting mapped for an additional 14 rounds of radiation to try to stop the continous slow bleeding around his tumor. He felt fine yesterday, but this morning was just weak and dizzy. Then just continued to go down hill from there. Thankfully my mom was on top of it and called 911 rather than try to drag him to the hospital herself!

I don't know how serious this is, but do know that they need to get the bleeding stopped and stopped now! I have a sick feeling this is the start of the awful ending no one wants!

I've been pacing around the house reading scripture and that has helped me calm down. I usually don't panic, but the situation is becoming a bit more real for me. I've been trying to anticipate and get ready for whatever is around the corner, but "thinking" you're ready and actually living it are two totally different things!

Thanks for your prayers!

Sally

Never be afraid to call 911
    Hi,

I recently needed to deciede wheter to call 911, get there myself, or just see what happens.

I called 911 and was glad I did. From the moment the EMs team arrived I had professional medical care, a fast ride to a hospital, and in a piece of equipment full of stuff not available to me or anyone at my home or in a call.

My advice to anyone who asks themselves whether to call 911, if you wonder....call 911!!

    Many Many Prayers
    Hi Sally
You and your mom did the right thing! Calling 911 is the best thing to do. The hospital is where he needs to be. And..please continue to lean on the Lord...he will bring you the strength and peace that you now need. Let us know how your dad is making out. Thinking and praying for all of you.
