Hello everybody… Sorry I haven’t posted in a few but I’ve been back in hotel “Salem Hospital” for a few days then had an appointment with a Neurologist yesterday. The hospital stay was from the 18th and they let me out on the 21st. I went in with the same problem as the last few stays (blockage) but this time it was more or less my own fault by overdoing it on my “Questran”. But I’m okay now and I have a better understanding on how to take it and how much NOT TO TAKE.
Now for the news on seeing this “hot shot” Neurologist. As many of you know I’ve been having this awful leg pain since being on chemo ( Oxaliplatin, and 5-FU) over a year ago. I have what she called “Severe Peripheral Neuropathy” in both legs and lower back. She says it’s from the chemo/radiation and will doubts it NEVER get better. But she wants to do a MRI of my brain to check for cancer and run a bunch of other tests. So we’ll see how it goes and I‘ll keep everyone updated as it goes… Life sure is crazy sometimes!!

Thanks for worrying about me

Brooks

    Hey Buddy
I tried to call you a bunch of times. No need to return them now.
That leg pain can be from the chemo/rad. I had it 2 years back. Glad you are getting the head checked out. If you find a tumor there early it’s not a problem for a Cyberknife burn. Glad your back at home.
