I have tried to register several times and emailed the administrator several times and never get reply emails. They also make it almost impossible to post as a guest. It drives me batty. There isn't much I want to respond to but when I do, I want it to work! UGH. Whatever, I like this place much better though. This is just me but I feel more hope on this board.....not trying to dis the other....it is just how I feel.

I got my pleurex catheter today. It was a really easy procedure but now it hurts. Off to Xeliri tomorrow! Hope all goes well and I have more good days than bad. I have been feeling tons better. I think that radiation just zaps the poo out of you and it takes several weeks to come out of the fog.

Ok, that's my rant and update. Hope you all have a nice evening.

Catherine

Not sure, I haven't joined Colon Club but read them daily. They can be very technical with their information and that is good. Keep trying, they are a great board but like you, I'm just a bit more comfortable here, no specific reason. I think they monitor your first few posts to keep spam and such out.

How is it going for you? Ascites better?

    Take care - Tina

Yep Radiation will zap ya but for me it wasn't to bad...
I did lose weight doing the radiation but gained it all back plus some afterwards during surgery and post op chemo...Started at 197 and went to 182 with Radiation (don't know why) then jumped back up to a whopping 227 and trying to lose it now...Glad to hear things going well for you, .Love to ya, Buzz

I have not posted on there, but I bought one of their Colondars, it is nice to see the pictures on the calendar of people that have scars like me. :)
