    Pepe:
George had lung mets at diagnosis, some large, he never experienced pain so lung mets were a surprise.

    Take care - Tina

    Nope not cancer......
You may have pleuresy, or turned sideways and maybe lifted something heavier than you thought and could have S T R E T C H E D a muscle..It should go away in about 3 days...Tylenol or some type of muscle, ache, pain reliever will most likely do the trick for you......no, its not cancer.........enjoy your day now...........easily..........Buzz

I've got lung mets but they don't hurt. I think they would show up on a scan before the would really hurt. My onc told me that shortness of breath is usually the symptom that emerges first. Maybe your pain is from all the wild sex?

    Pepe, your story reminded me

Pepe, your story reminded me of a recent ER hospital visit with my Mom. (The pain was EXACTLY as you described!). The doctors ran all sort of tests and scans thinking she was having a heart attack. Anyway, after describing her symptoms to the doctor, I thought for a moment about what she did the previous day - she took her 18 pound cat to the vet! I smiled and told her, "Don't worry Mom, it's just a pulled muscle, you'll see." And the final diagnosis - drum roll please... yup, a pulled muscle! :-D So, I have to agree with Roger...I think you've been having way too much fun for your own good. ;-)

    Feel better soon! Hugs, Cynthia

    no pain
    Hi,

I have what they call on my scan report "innumerable" subcentimeter lung nodules (although I know at least a couple have grown close to 2 cm now. I have absolutely no pain and no awareness of them at all. The only times I've had problems w/ tightness or difficulty breathing, it turned out to be problems w/ my asthma, not the lung mets.
So... I doubt that's what's causing your pain. I know it's hard for the mind not to wander, though. Maybe you pulled or strained something. Give it a bit of time.

    Hugs,
    Lisa

    Will do... But,

Will do... But, unfortunately, the doctor called earlier to cancel tomorrow's appointment since the forecast is for 9" of snow in Boston. (Rick and I believe he must be from Florida since no self-respecting New Englander would ever consider this any more than a flurry!!) Heehee. :-D Have a good night, Cyn
