still a lurker, posting every once in awhile but do get on about once a week to see how everyone is doing. Just had a check up and blood work fine so will go back in 3 months. Might seek advice for bowels if I can't figure this out;} wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
    Hugs to you all!

I guess I'm another lurker...I was once quite active during the time of my mom's illness..I found a great deal of support on this board, as well as the chatroom..She left us 7/09..and my life has forever changed since...holidays are rather tough..I read the posts on here 3-4 times a week...Although I barely know anyone on here anymore, you all remain in my thoughts and prayers...

    Blessings to you all,

    Hey there
I'm not on the list but, just checking in. Was busy baking all day yesterday. So proud of all the baking I got done. Pumpkin bread, banana nut bread, fudge, pnut brittle, cranberry nut loaf, cookies ... baked like crazy. My oldest son is coming into town today so I'm busy with our early Christmas this weekend since chemo is Monday. So hello board ... I'm still around just a bit busy. Feel the love!!!

Can't wait for this year to be over
I read a lot but only post occasionally. Its been a very hard year, last week I was at my mother-in-laws side when she passed away, only 2 months and 1 day after loosing father-in-law. We have lost 8 family members or friends this year, 6 of them to cancer. Then having my own cancer diagnosis on top of it all has made this a very rotten year!! Praying for better things to come in the new year, bring it on..

    Merry Christmas,
    Bonnie

I started out posting here last year.
Now that we have an Anal board, I do most of my posting there. Do not think for one moment that I have forgotten about the wonderful people on this board. I still read all of your posts and follow your progress. I am elated when there is good news and I have shared your grief at the loss of some wonderful people this year. I still recommend this forum to anyone that I come in contact with that I think may benefit from it.

I had stereotactic radiation for a liver met and chemo for pleual mets this year. Right now everything looks good. I have a PET scan next Wednesday and as expected I am feeling very anxious about it.

I will continue to keep all of you in prayer.

    Merry Christmas,
    Joanne

Just found this site. It is helpful reading other peoples experiences with cancer to compare with mine.

Hope everyone has a great Holiday Season.

Wishes for a happy, healthy 2011.

    Hi Everyone,

I am so glad to see some people on the board who don't usually post. We are doing well and enjoying our time until ****'s next scan in January. Having some days of feeling a bit "normal" then other days knowing cancer can come out of the wood work again at anytime. Taking it one day at a time and trying to stay grateful.

    Aloha,
    Kathleen

    special year
Hello everyone. This has been a very special Holiday season this year. It seem's that with this being the first year with my diagnosis, it would be stressful and sad for me. For the very most part though, I have been my cheerful self with some sentimental emotions mixed in. I just want all of my friends and family to know how much I love and appreciate them. Making sure my little ones, age 9 and 11 have a very loving Christmas.

    Hugs and kisses, Gail

I post when I think I can input, but mostly a daily lurker. I feel greatful to have found this site, it helps to keep me sane. I have great support, but no one knows or really understands your C state till you have experienced it. I thank all of you for your postings, you really do provide a great service and I know I may need your help in the future. So you regulars, pat yourself on your back, medals should be handed out. May the New Year bring progress in the C field for all our sakes.....Merry Christmas to all. Pat
