I have a quick question. My dad recently got a amall water blister on his gum. He had these off and on through treatment. Have any of you had this problem post treatment. The Oncologist told him they are nothing to be concerned about. He has started eating a fair amount of citrus fruit in the last week could this be causing the problem?

    probably
yes, I had several right after radiation. I assumed the skin in my mouth was just very tender and sensitive to certain foods. I think I foolishly tried to eat spicey mexican food. Citrus was next to impossible for me and is most probably the culprit. They come about almost instantly after irritation and I could burst them just by running my tongue over them for a short while. They were comprised of water and I could feel them empty when broken. Just kept my mouth clean and they were just a small nuisnace. Don't worry about these.

    Hi Kathy
I got them as far as a year after treatment stopped, and I could not eat any type of fruit for almost 6 month
