    Thanks Pepe!
Not much is going on for me this weekend. Tonight my husband + youngest daughter went to my Mom's birthday party + my oldest daughter came home to keep me company. I was too tired to go the party; I had chemo on Tuesday + I am still recovering. Tomorrow my younger daughter + husband are off to watch the Maple Leaf hockey (our local NHL team)at their skills competition. A friend is dropping in tomorrow. And we will watch the CFL (Canadian Football League) quarter finals.

Hi Anne , I hope you feel better very soon!
Not too much to do here too, just watch TV with my wife ,tomorrow at least we have something interesting : Formula One ,the last Grand Prix
of the season, and Fernando Alonso, ( Spanish pilot ) is going first this year but he has a britton very very close, tomorrow we will see!.Well I'm sorry..... I think you don't follow F1 in Canada so .....!
    Have a nice weekend,hugs!

    Sat.
    Hey, Pepe.

If you saw my facebook posts, you already know that my Sat. turned out better than I thought. I was feeling funky last night, so Bill decided to perk me up. Took me to lunch and then to a new Christmas store. We bought some holiday decorations, which I LOVE. Then we stopped at a thrift store, where I bought a dress and sweater for about $4. Cheap fun!

So today was a good one.

    *hugs*

    Christmas Store and Thrifty Fun
    Gail,

Wow....a Christmas store and thrifty fun! I love a bargain too. Do you collect any certain holiday decorations? A family near here has over 50 decorated trees in their house each year. Each has a different theme! My trees are always more of a memory theme....a little bit of this and that. I used to get the kids an ornament each year so they could have their own collections.

I have found some neat ornaments at thrift stores too. I really like the old twirling ornaments that spin from the heat of the bulbs. Unfortunately the new bulbs don't get hot enough!

    Sounds like a great time!

    Have a great weekend!
