    I'm going to
EAT. I got a lecture yesterday at the onc's office about weight loss (10lbs since chemo last Monday). I worked so hard to put on the extra 5 lbs before chemo so I could go in there with a little extra weight just in case.

They call me "Trouble", in a loving, joking way at the office. When they heard my weight loss someone went online and printed out a Domino's Pizza coupon and gave it to me along with my compazine rx and said the doctor wrote an order that I was to pick up a pizza on the way home. So, I am eating and eating and eating this weekend. And I'm doing my pre-chemo routine of making sure everything is done ahead of time for the week ahead, shopping (extreme shopping as Lou calls it), cooking, cleaning. Fun, fun, fun.

P.S I'm making pineapple upside down cake. I think it's going to be a pre-chemo tradition as I made one the weekend before last treatment.

Wow the best plan to me
Christmas shopping ,unfortunately I have lost last year Christmas as I left the Hospital on the 22 th after a huge resection!
And seems this year is going to be almost the same! ( but smaller resection this time).

I don't live in the same
I don't live in the same state as my mom, but I cook better than my sister. (She knows it!) My relatives call me Marquita Stewart. So when I o to sEe my mom I cook and freeze for her chemo weeks. She says that helps her. Ready made meals!

    I'm looking forward
I'm looking forward to feeling better. I've had a really rotten round of FOLFIRI. The Big D got me bad - and then I had trouble with Lomotil (which is what saved me from the bad diarrhea the first time).

I'm hoping to be well enough to EAT REAL FOOD!!! Liquids only yesterday. Today I did ok with a banana and some soda crackers. Tonight I pushed it and had potato soup. Lots of rumbling going on. So I just had gelatin again. I want to go out and use the gift certificate a friend gave me for Red Lobster.

Three of my kids are up north for the opening of deer hunting season with their dad. Just one here for the weekend, and she is always doing homework or at her job on the weekends. So it will be nice and quiet.

Hope you can find some good movies to watch. Cuddle up with your wife and enjoy some quiet time while you get better.
