    Hi Sarah,
    Still here

    Hi Sarah,

Still here breathing the air and waking up each morning! My liver function is still a little messed up and found put I'm now anemic. Also have a little abdominal bloating so have to get that checked out and possibly drained....fun fun! I am still able to function enough to keep working full time just more of a struggle on the travel weeks. Loving fall and the season change in Wisconsin but definitely not looking forward to winter this year and the minus zero temps and gusty winds.

Haven't been on as much lately sorry for the slow response!

I'm not due for new scans
I'm not due for new scans until Dec but last CT showed no liver tumors. I have mets other places but not the liver right now. I've been looking through all my historic labs since diagnosed and it appears it started (high AST-ALT, low hemoglobin) right around the time of my embolization and appears i never fully recovered. The numbers got better (not in range better) but have gone in the wrong direction once again. I'm bloating out in my abdomen so guessing I need to be scoped and drained, hopefully it's that easy haha. I just read a press release from google liver cancer
alerts that i get all the time, on milk thistle that I used to take but stopped just prior to the embo. The article said it should help reduce AST and ALT values.
Getting reset up here locally at Froedtert (they did my resection) so I can address issues a little faster.

All I can do is continue forward and keep enjoying life with my wife, daughter, family and friends!! I still stand by my F@*# Cancer attitude as well haha

Im so happy for you :) I
Im so happy for you :) I hope it continues on like this. My dad has been on his clinical trial for a few weeks now. His symptoms are improving from the chemo but he is now having abdominal pain right where his liver is. He is due for a set of scans nov 17th to see if the tumors have either stabalized or shrunk. If they continue to grow despite chemo I dont know whaT THE next course of action wil be. I am getting married today :) And i am thankfuls and lucky he is in generally god health to be here with me today :)
