Stage 3b Lung Cancer

In June I was diagnosed with stage 3b lung cancer (after being misdiagnosed in May)and was admitted to ICU unable to breathe and coughing up lots of blood. At this time the lung did collapes and I really did think I was going to die right then!
After 12 radiation treatments the lung did open enough to breathe and allowed for chemotherapy to begin.
I had a Pet Scan yesterday and was to start my 3rd cycle of chemo today. I saw my doctor first thing before chemo and reviewed the Pet Scan results which showed the masses to be much smaller and appear to be shrinking according to my doctor. Both my Oncologist and Pullmanary doctors stated this response is highly unusual for stage 3b and that I was Blessed!
After much Prayer and Faith this great news shows that God does hear and answer Prayers and has His Hand in healing. I know I am not completely healed, but with God's help I will beat this, and you can too!!
I wanted to share this with anyone in treatment no matter what stage or time frame you are in, God will hear your Prayers and He is the Only One that directs the doctors and medications!

    Hmmm
Don't you think it might mean that the radiation is doing exactly what it's supposed to do?
