    Fine thanks
So sorry about this rough patch. I can remember feeling so weak and tired when my counts were low but that was child's play compared to what you are going through. But they will figure it all out. You just have to put the time in. Thank goodness you are finished and don't have a treatment looming. Good luck with the shots today. When they draw your blood, if they find any WBCs, tell them to put them back!! Mary

    Vinny,
We are all behind you. Yes, you have got to take it slow til those counts come back up. I am sure running back and forth to the hospital for blood work and shots helps wear you out as well. Be watching for any results. Take care, John

    Agree with Mary...
    Morning Vinny,
I agree with Mary...if they find any WBC's, have them stick them right back in and if possible steal some from anyone else thats close by...ha!ha!ha! Your a pretty special guy at our house, and even my friends are calling and asking "how's Vinny doing today?" Hang in there and keep us posted. Sue

    Home yet ?
    Hi Vinny,
I hope your home and that the news is better. Even a few wbc are better then 0. I'll keep praying that those cells wake up and get busy making friends..
I know how hard it can be to do nothing, maybe it's not so hard right now, but please try to take it easy. Watch some old movies, how about Trading Places or Beverly Hills Cop. Two great funny old movies. Do you have netflix, maybe your wife can go to the rental store for you.
I'll keep you in my prayers..
    Peaceful healing...

    Understand
    Hi Vinny,
I totally understand about your team. Our house is all about the S.F. Giants. Woo Hoo Go Giants.. Sorry I had to say that or my husband would never forgive me.
I think you must have superman hiding inside you. To be able to cook anything sitting or not, is AMAZING. How do you find the strength. I sure do wish I lived in your neck of the woods, I would invite myself over for dinner .LOL..
Today I am packing and trying to stay calm. I will keep you in my prayers and keep sending you positive energy . Keep telling those cells of yours to wake up and get busy...

    Peaceful healing

    Wish...
    Hi vinny,
You amaze me how you push yourself and continue cooking with your counts being so slow and feeling as run down as you are! Absolutely amazing! I wish you lived close by so I could share our fish fry diner tomorrow with you. I made potatoe salad last night at 1:00a.m...put the baked beans in the slow cooker this morning...and baked my apple pie and just took it out of the oven. We are cooking 2 (15 pound) king salmon on cedar boards in the barbecue, along with deep frying a couple dozen of beer battered bass. Last count I was told there will be a minimum of 25 people, and with each of them bringing a side dish or a desert, we will probably have enough food to feed a small country!...ha! Wish I could invite everyone in the group over! Well Vinny...you stay peaceful and quiet this weekend and give your body a chance to beef up those WBC's. Always in my prayers...Sue

    Seafood to go
    Hi Vinny,
You are totally amazing. I'm embarressed to say I pretty much sat on my behind the entire time I was on chemo. My body was overwhelmed by the drugs and I pretty much didn't function for 4 months. Don't think my family noticed the difference, LOL. Okay, that was a joke, of course they noticed, I hope. Anyway, there was no way I was up to cooking anything. I couldn't get it together to scramble an egg so between you and Sue I am speachless. And I think of my self as a good cook, love cooking new things.

When this is all over I think we all should put together a CSN lymphoma cookbook. Actually, what do you guys think of this idea? We could do it as a way to raise money for lymphoma research? And all receipes would be coming from lymphoma survivors, which is a great selling point. I'd buy it!!!!!!!HAHA.
    Love you guys

    Dinner
We love fish at my house and are having lightly battered and fried trout for dinner this evening. We must all be on the same wave length.
