Question for the Guys

Hi Guys,

I've been researching a question that I've had no luck with. Frankly, it's a plumbing issue. (Embarraaassssinnng) Have any of you had any bladder problems that have only started after you began chemo?

I know old guys supposedly start having problems, but I've not had any significant ones until I started chemo. Now it seems that I'm always having to be extremely careful about dripping and spotting - how embarrassing! I don't even want to post this. But I've not been able to find any info on this question. I have a very low baseline PSA, but I don't even know if they can run a PSA while on chemo. This seems a sudden change to me, but certainly could be related to the treatment, I suppose.

Anyone have any experience?

Thanks,
Tom

THE ROOF IS LEAKING (DRIP DROP)
    Tom,
Oh yes, I notice it too. Also notice that when I have to go I have to go now. Can't sit and think about it. If I wait too long I just might go in my pants. John

    Guys arn't the only ones...
    Hey guys...
Since chemo I haven't peed so much in all of my life!!! Plus..sometimes it's slow in flowing and I have to rock back and forth to slosh it around to release, and other times I'm in a dead run to avoid wetting my pants. While you guys stand and feel frustrated...just remember us gals are sitting and feeling equally frustrated. Hubby's afraid he will have to replace the handle on the flusher...ha!ha!ha!...Sue

I am still looking for someone that has bubbles. After each treatment for about a week to 10 days I have bubbles galore in the toilet bowl. No joke. Can't figure that one out. I find myself singing that song by Don Ho, "Tiny Bubbles", everytime I go. John

    Love it, John.

I don't have bubble trouble, but hopefully it is just the "stuff" that you're getting rid of. And that would be a good thing.

Ladies, I guess I didn't realize that this would be an issue for y'all, but thanks for your input also!

Y'All really helped my days yesterday and today. I was going all wild about possible prostate involvement - and today I am much more calm.

Hoping for a lighter day for All,
    Tom

    Tom,
Thats how my lymphoma was discovered. I went for a routine yearly urology prostate exam in Feb of 2010 and all was fine. The Dr. wanted a routine cat scan to check everything from kidneys to bladder. Again all was fine but they saw a few enlarged lymph nodes on the scan. That was not fine. Had it checked out thru referal to the onc. center and here I am. John

    THE BIG OLE' BUS
    Vinny,
I got 1 to go too. Number 4 and 5 kicked my A$$. I see where you are still having a lot of problems with your blood counts. I think about you all the time.I will be feeling bad and all of a sudden you pop up in my mind. I feel bad complaining with the way I feel sometimes and then thinking about what you are going thru. I am borderline anemic right now and feel really wore out. I have actually wore the soles of my tennis out from not picking my feet up enough when I walk,no joke. I just can't imagine what you are going thru. I am praying those blood counts come up pretty soon. They will come up, Its just better sooner than later. Nothing like feeling wore down all the time.
