    Hey John,

Finally remembered to take a look at the 1966 shelby cobra. Gorgeous car!! What color are yours and did you rebuild them yourself or buy them finished? My first husband rebuilt a 1934 Ford Deluxe Model A. It was ebony black with yellow spoke wheels. We live in Minnesota, so my car sat outside for years in the cold while his pride and joy stayed in the garage. It was worth the sacrifice though cause he enjoyed it so much.

Nice you live in a warm climate so you can drive your cobras all year round.

    BRITTA,
Both cars are same color. Blue with the white strip. We bought the 1st one already assembled ,but did a lot of work after we got it. The 2nd one was a total kit. The body was together but we had to assemble eveything from the wheels up. Glad we got it done because I don't have the strenght anymore. I guess I will be full of piss and vinegar again after all this chemo is done. At least I hope. My son has a 32 ford coupe now he is working on. I try to help as much as I can but I feel like a 120 year old sometimes. He lives in Md. He has the car here in NC in our garage to work on it when we can. WE have a very big garage and just about ever tool you can think of to work on the projects. I could do a lot more if I could just think straight. This chemo brain can be very annoying. John

    John,

Just checked the Cobra car. Looks cool! By now, you are getting to be a salesman advertising this!! Grandkids and kids can be a real blessing that brings you energy even though you re pooped to the bone! I have a wonderful daughter and son and they help me forget about my body blues.

Have a great weekend and a good rest,
    Liz

    Liz,
The price on the market for these cars is very high. I have been trying to sell one of them but with the poor economy it is rough. They do look setting in the garage though.hahahaha

Ha ha ha yeah, enjoy viewing your car while it lasts. Next week, I will have my house refinanced (thank god so to pay off the medical bills) with a much lower interest - so it is a blessing in disguise. I am sure in the future it will improve - maybe by the time your grandkids get to be adults!!

    Great cars
    Hi John,
I told my husband about your cars, he wishes he had one. Oh well. What part of NC are you. I have an Aunt and Uncle who spend their summers in Bakersville and the rest of the year in Raleigh. Someday I hope to visit that area. I heard that Asheville is beautiful.
How has it been going for you. I hope not to difficult. You were talking about chemo brain, I have not had chemo brain but have had and still do have radiation brain. Maybe it's the same thing. My memory is in a fog and it all started with the whole body rads. It got somewhat better over the years, but never back to what it was.Now it is going to be a real mess, since I will be repeating the rads again.
Have a peaceful and healing weekend..
    Thinking of you.

    Great Cars
    Lisha,
I am right outside Fayetteville about 50 miles south of Raleigh. I think the chemo and radiation brain are about the same. It really affects the short term memory. Something like you can remember your first day of school, but can't remember what you had for breakfast this morning. Also if someone interupts you while you are talking, you forget what you were talking about. The chemo brain is supposed to go away after chemo is finished,at least I hope anyway. I have been doing pretty good although this time after round 4 of r-cvp it started knocking me down with the tiredness. My blood counts stayed high for someone in chemotherapy. They dropped a little this last round and it does make a difference. I hope that light I see at the end of the tunnel is not a freight train.hahahaha. John
