    Good News!
    Lisa,

I'm glad that the results were good and nothing else showed up...that is wonderful! YOu are doing all the right things. My prayers and thoughts go out to you. Your faith in God is what keeps you so calm and He is always with you and will take care of you.

    Big hugs to you,
    Sara

    These results sound good to
These results sound good to me - I know we all would like to be rid of it completely but I am glad things are stable for you. You are inspirational!

Onward you go is right :)
Well, I see what you mean by "mixed results". It's nothing to get really excited over and throw a celebration... on the other hand, there's nothing to panic over and try other treatments. It just is what it is... and you've been in this battle for so long, it goes to show your system definitely knows how to keep things stable.

Well, that's a relief that it's over and you've got your results and it's now full sails ahead. I know there's probably a thread around here somewhere but how are you tolerating your current chemo regime? I had a heck of a time with my Xeloda regime the first 2 cycles, but Cycle 3 and 4 seem to be going really well and I don't appear to be having much in the way of side affects at all. So I'm pleased about that, considering I have at least 4 more to go through ;)

    Ok... onwards it is!!

Well, Lisa. I'm glad it wasn't a horrible report. I know you'd be happier with no activity whatsoever, but you do have a fabulous attitude.

As always, you are in my prayers. Keep us posted about things!

    *hugs*

    Thanks, everyone
Thanks, everyone, for checking in, caring, commenting, praying, etc.
You are all great, as always. :)

Today seems like just another ordinary day & I guess that's good, that I'm not obsessing over the scan results, treatment, etc. Just got back a while ago from dropping my 14 yr old off at the high school for her 3rd day of school- boy, that morning drop off routine is a mess! 4,000 kids at the high school and they have just one parking lot that they allow parents to drop off kids in. When my son was there, they used two parking lots- this takes an eternity! Hopefully, it will get easier- things are always the craziest the first week.
Anyhow, hugs to you all- my wish is for all of you to be able to go about your day doing whatever it is you do & not have to worry or stress too much about nasty old cancer!

    Love ya,
    Lisa

    Lisa
Lisa, i spent several weeks after my last scan thinking my cancer had spread only to find out after follow up test that i was actually almost cancer free.

So my point is wow, radiologist will write confusing notes on these scans and only a team of doctors and transribist, and a boat load of new doctors can evr tell us what is what, i think it would be more fun if they would just use words like no change but instead they use ten other words like uptake, and grossly, strained, margin, and so on and so on.

I am glad you are feeling optimistic and that is the key.

I like what Jean said about
I like what Jean said about the drama. It's true. In the beginning it's so overwhelming and scary and then after a year of it, everything just becomes part of your "new normal" as they say. I admire all of you who are living with this disease and keeping sane. I know it's God for you as it is for me. Back to "life" until the next scan right?
    God bless ya,
    April

    Dear Lisa,
You are really amazing. I know that in the midst of this you are still a mom and wife. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

    Aloha,
