    Hi...Feeling better today...my left hip feels like a horse kicked me but I'm movin ok...just a little s-l-o-w..ha! No...I didn't get a cute little band-aid. They put an elastic compression bandage that completely covers my upper left hip. I think thats because she had to go to two different areas to draw the bone marrow tissue and blood. She said to leave it on for 24 hours and make sure there is no bleeding or swelling when I take it off. I plan to take it off later on this evening when I can have my hubby check out the area. I can already see bruising up higher on my hip, but that doesn't surprise me after the way she reefed on that needle when pulling it out of my bone. Man, oh man that hurt...it wasn't just pressure...it just plain hurt! I try not to think about it...ha! You are so sweet to ask and I'm so grateful to have found this support group. You have a good day and so will I.

    You'll be sore for about a week or so, and bruised. I am just grateful my onc hasn't had me do too many of them and gratefully been knocked out every time.

    I'm just glad it's behind you!
