New zero club member

I had my appointment on Wednesday and got the news - I'm a member of the zero club too!

Thanks and my prayers for everyone on this incredible discussion board.

    New zero club member
    I like this club and would like to submit my name for application. I was diagnosed four years ago this month as a healthy, asymptomatic 46 year old who happened to have a PSA over 23. The cancer had metasticized to seminal vesicles. Apparently, the prostate was also infected and the biopsy caused me to become septic and landed me in the hospital for a week as they tried to get my temperature down from 105 and my blood pressure up from 70/40. In July of 2006 I had robotic surgery at the City of Hope followed by radiation and two years of Lupron, Casadex, and Finestride. My PSA has been undetectable since my surgery. One more year and the chance for reoccurence drops significantly. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who have the courage to tell their stories here.

    The Zero Club continues to grow! Way to Go GUMBYRUN!! & DR. Jeff
    We have to hold on to all that is positive! There is three clubs that all of us want to be in our collective battle with the beast so I'm throwing out names for the other two, "Woody Club" and perhaps the "Dryness Club". The thing about these clubs...there can never be too many members, there are no dues, only happiness once membership is achieved!

    Well said, all of us want to be in the Dryness Club and the Woody Club and we have to hold onto all that is positive. POSITIVE IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE!!!! To quote an expression from the 60's and 70's RIGHT ON!!!!!
