    YES!
and I worried myself sick over it. The chemotherapy is very hard on the digestive system. What chemo were you on and when did you finish? My digestive system is still a mess.

Congrats on completing your chemo and a great end of treatment ca125!

Hi Nancy thanks for replying I had caboplatin and taxol 6 treatments at 3 week intervals, soreness is in my pelvic area, wish I could take a more relaxed attitude about it,I mean so much chemo is bound to affect us a lot. Love Oska

    of course...
Of course if it gets worse contact your doctor. But I truly worried, and still do, about digestive pain. It's easy for me to tell you to relax but I should follow my own advice!!

    Hi Oska
Sorry we had to meet here but welcome. I am sorry that you are still in pain and discomfort after surgery but it is good news about your CA125. Maybe the pain is the scar tissue?

Where in Nottingham did you live?

    Take care Tina x

Does it feel like you did too many sit-ups yesterday?
That's the way I always described the pain I felt in my torso; it felt just like I'd been to the gym and did too many abdominal exercises, even though I wasn't exercising at ALL. I ached from just under my ribs down to about my navel all the time. Throughout my chemo I brought it up faithfully to each oncologist, PA, oncology nurse, anyone that would listen. They all reassured me that pain in the torso is the most common complaint of chemo, and nothing to worry about. They said that the chemo is killing fast-growing cells, and unfortunately there are many fast-growing cells in the digestive track. And you know, now that I am 3 months into this 2nd remission and out of chemo, I believe them! The constant torso pain is GONE and it WASN'T the cancer progression I was so afraid it was. So try not to worry. Ask about it when you see your oncologist, but try not to worry. I feel silly now for how much I worred about it! (((hugs)))
