Spring Break

Just wanted to let you know that our oldest son, Scott (39 in July) and our 7 year old grandson, Jackson, will be arriving either late Sunday night or Monday morning for a long (8 or 9 days) spring break. We've got Braves tickets and are going to climb Stone Mountain and spend the day at that park. Loads of fun things planned!

I'll check in to look for prayer needs but didn't want to disappear, especially since my CT scan is Tuesday. I don't expect to get any results until my onc visit on April 6th.

    Hope you have beautiful weather and make some wonderful memories with Scott and Jackson (I love that name). Prayers for nothing, nada, zilch on the CT. Happy Easter to you as well.

    Good for you Baseball, Grandson, hiking...those are three of my many favorites. Enjoy your time, make some wonderful memories and make sure you share some of them with us. I know us grandparents, we like talking about "our" little ones!!

    Have fun, sounds like a great time. Our daughter will be coming home for a few days for Easter and we are looking forward to that. Then in April George is going to Phoenix for business so I am going to tag along, stay in Scottsdale, then spend a few extra days there. He is so ready to get away, he is really feeling well, so off we will go. Enjoy the visit - Tina

    Scott and Jack should be here any minute! They drove through rain, 2 hail storms, rock slide and tornado warnings!

    Scott, our 39 year old son, and our grandson Jackson (7) left for home about 30 minutes ago. We had 8 wonderful and fun filled days with them. Not one drop of rain, either. Went fishing. Braves game. Castle Playground. Pine Mountain Gold Museum. John Tanner State Park. Stone Mountain. Fed the ducks. Played wiffle ball..... It was just wonderful!
