My CT Scan Results

Hi everyone,

Today I met with my oncologist + she went over my CT results. As my oncologist said "it is good news". I have no new growth + the mets from my liver have decreased in size or stayed the same. There was calcification on my liver, which she said is from the cancer dying off. This CT was after treatment #9 of folfiri + avastin. My previous CT scan was after 4 treatments + showed no sign of the cancer in my colon + decrease/no increase in my 4 liver mets. I will continue on folfiri + avastin with a 10% reduction because I have had to delay a few treatments due to low neutrophils + they were low again today.

    Good Job
Anne - sounds like you got a good report from your CT scan. No new growth is wonderful, decrease in size is wonderful. Now celebrate this good news. Looks like you might just be on the road to resection. We had good news like this in January and although George is probably more advanced in disease than you, I was estatic. Stay the course. Take care - Tina

    Hi Anne :)
Sounds pretty good - nothing new in liver, colon clean and other existing mets shrunk or stable. This is a nice victory! I'm sorry you still have to do more treatments, but you are doing the right thing by attacking and staying after it.

Thank you so much for your comments on Harley - made me smile to hear from you.

    Hi Anne!!
Sounds like great news, no new growths is always a good thing! I have the same thing as you know, it's stable, and it hasn't increased or spread in a year of being on this Folfiri. I wish you good luck with the rest of the treatments, and am here whenever you need to talk!

    Hugsss!

So happy that everything is looking good. Hopefully you can get thru the rest of the treatment without further delays. I had to delay treatment 3 or 4 times but finally was able to complete 11. Keeping you in my prayers. Let us know how you're doing.

    Blessings,
