    C C of America
I checked into it when I was 6 months into the diagnosis, but our insurance didnt cover it and they asked for $23,00.00 up front to start treatments. I was diagnosis in 08 with stage 4 Lung cancer NSCLC in right lung and lymphs and SCLC in left lung, if you read my bio you will see I have a complicated health status, adn am currently on Hospice.
From what I have learned they use most traditional treatments, homiopathic, and also focus on the mental and spiritual sides of cacner treatment. Tho no personal experience with them, I found that my treatment procedure would have been much the same, and the support both mental and spiritual I already had at home. My Cancer Dr. was able to get the test back as fast as their claim and I did not have the finanical resourses to pay what was required to start let alone continue treament with them.
But again this is only my experience here with the Az cancer center, and others may have had a different experience. As in most cases you need to do all the research you can on the subject, ask your cancer Dr, ask your insurance what they cover, my insurance case worker was very informative on the matter as far as my insurance was concerned. Everyone has different experiences when it comes to cancer and the treatment of it. But I also take into consideration the finanical aspect because with my complicated health status and other factors I know that I have only a chance to extend my time not beat it all together. I dont want to leave my family burden with an over load of debt.

Thanks so much for your reply to my CTCA inquiry. I am in the process of researching thoroughly since I would have to travel out of state. My insurance will cover this treatment program so I am very fortunate in that. I have an appointment with another doctor on 2/25. If this one chooses to drag their feet as well, I will probably be more inclined to get on the plane.
My heart and prayers go out to you and your loved ones.

    Just Keep going
Yes you are fortunate, and no matter which direction you go, jjust dont let anyone drag their feet on your care. The most important thing is that, no matter who gives it as long as it is the best care available and that it is done in a timely manner.
Your mental status in this matter is just as important as anything else, and if you are uncomfortable with something, follow through, look up possible reasons that they maybe dragging their feet, sometimes it is because the time is actually need. But you have the right to get another opinion and to control what and where and who you get your care from, if your not comfortable with this way, then look into another way.
As I said I have no first hand knowledge sbout CTCA, only the short experience we had and what I have been given talking to others. You are looking into it and making sure that if you go that way it is for your best interest I can only wish you well and pray for you.
There are so many treatment places out there, and everyone is different, even within their own groups. U hope only as I said that what ever direction you go in it is in your best interest and you get the best possible care available.
