Hello all I had a non-fasting blood draw yesterday and the results were all normal except for the ALT (live enzyme). It had been high, and a little more than a month ago it was still high (87), but now it is double that. It measures the amount of inflammation and typically is a sign of cirrhosis - not good when heading into chemo. Could it be post-surgery related? Same message sent to Dr.

Best,

Mick

I had elevated liver enzymes before taking treatment but it was due to the malaria I got while working in West Africa as I am told. It did not affect me while taking the Chemo but it was checked just about every week.

    Take care my Friend
