Steam Brussel sprouts until tender. Let cool. Toss with tomato pieces or cherry tomatoes. Add olive oil and red wine or balsamic vinegar (black pepper if you're so inclined). Toss again and Chill until cold. Serve in a salad bowl that is either colorful or clear glass. Add favorite salad spices on top.

    Yum!
That sounds lovely! My husband and I have been eating salads and an assortment of veggies each weeknight, I will try these........

Saute onion, garlic, add sliced zuchinni, stop there.......or add two chopped up tomatoes, a bit of chicken broth, top with your favorite cheese, just a tiny bit......melt cheese, simmer until tender.....and whah'la!!

    How about iceburg, radishes
How about iceburg, radishes and gobs and gobs of ranch dressing. Just kidding. I'm going Brussel sprout shopping tomorrow. My wife recently read that Brussel sprouts are highly recommended for colorectal cancer patients. Can you confirm Dianne? I figure anything leafy and green is good, except iceburg, which I'm told is mostly water. And oak leaves. They are leafy and green, but not very good.

    Brussel sprouts also
Brussel sprouts also delicious oven roasted with olive oil, garlic; but is cooking veggies in that way not as healthy as steaming? I have even prepared roasted veggies for people who say they don't like brusselsp. and they changed over.
