I read this board a lot but usually post on the "Colon Club" website. I'm currently NED, have / had :) stage 4 with mets to the bone. My resent scan was incredibly clean and my onc took me off chemo(10 rounds Folfox) and I'm great. I wanted to share my story of how God intervened for me and what happened to bring me to this point.

Many of you read my post about my first encounter and how that radically changed me and the course of this disease. I wanted to share what happened a month as a sequel and how it put me into NED. For those of you that are doubters of it all which is ok this is as exact an account of how and what happened.

I went to a church in Redding Ca. which has an intensive healing ministry where every saturday they pray all day for anyone who comes, and they come from all over the world. They interview and document everything before and after to have a good database of what is happening to the people they pray for and to measure the results.

A couple about my age (52) prayed for me as I sat in a chair. While the man was praying he said he felt that God was showing him I had pain in my back. I said yes that the bone mets in my right thigh and lower back had begun bothering me. He laid his hand on those areas and said this prayer "Lord let your light shine like radiation on these areas", the MOMENT he prayed that the pain and discomfort began to fade and within two minutes was GONE. And has never come back.Any of you that know about bone mets how incredible this is.

Well they finished praying and I was profoundly touched to say the least. I went to the room next door where they had set up a worship band and people were involved in worship, prayer and just sharing with each other. I was there for only a few minutes when one of the team/band members cam,e to the microphone and said he felt like God was showing him there was someone in the room who had colon disease and of so whould you raise your hand. (there wer maybe a 100 people in this large room from all over including overseas) Well I raised my hand and a group came laid hands on me and began quietly praying. The sensation that occured I can only describe this way.....it was as if liquid energy and vitality was being poured INTO my body. I felt as if I was being changed, reinvented....something I find hard to describe. I left there and you all know the rest, clean scan....so clean the onc took me off chemo.....a absolutely dynamic spiritual and phyiscal change.

    PapaJ,
    A beautiful testimony

    PapaJ,
A beautiful testimony regarding the power of love, prayer, and faith. Of course the doubters will continue to doubt and the believers will continue to believe. Count me as the latter.

    No, but
Patti, I have not gone personally but my sweet sister (step in law) went before the church FOR me and she had the prayer warriors anoint a pillowcase with oil and pray over her and it for me. I sleep on it every night and the church has prayed for me for over a year now.

It reminded me of the rich man who went to Jesus and said 'Just say the word and my servant will be healed'. He had such strong faith.....

    Sometimes...
I am a believer too. I have been since I was 5 and love listening and sharing to great things that COULD happen. Those who don't believe, What will it hurt to believe, it doesn't hurt, it doesn't skew how you feel about things, it just makes be an even stronger believer in HOPE and may possibley lessen the load on many other areas of your life. Or not, but what do you have to lose? Make it a great day, and yes I BELIEVE AND I AM 12 YEARS CANCER FREE!!!

    hi guys
I am a beliver and when the surgen talked to my husband in july after my operation he said he had never seen such a large tumor on a colon that had not burst (soft ball size) and he knew God had kept his hand on it to keep it in tact 34 lymph nopdes removed and 19 cancerous chemo is half over and I am cancer free . If anyone doesn't believe then they will miss out on the glory of the Lord returning to gather his bride.Everyone that came into my room held my hand and prayer out loud and I know that was my healing room right there in the hospital.
