Well I did the deed on the 17th and things went quite well. Both neurovascular bundles were spared and my surgeon thinks he got all the cancer, but of course, that can't be confirmed until this next Wes. when iI get the path report. So, for now, my fingers are crossed that I will not have positive surgical margins and that I will not be restaged to a more aggresive form of PCa. I do have to say that the open procedure seems to hurt more than RALP, at least from those I have talked to about this. But still, released in only 36 hours is not too bad!!
Cheers
Bill

    Way to go Bill
Yep 36hrs seems real good. The marvels of modern medicine and quality surgeons.

Get your rest and work on the recovery. Drink lots (water of course) and walk as much as you can. The walking helps in a whole bunch of different areas of the recovery.

We will all send the prayers and blessings for a great path report.

I appreciate the prayers and thoughts Sonny. And your so right, walking is very helpful. I can't wait until they remove the catheter and I can sleep normally again. Thx again Sonny!!
