I went out this morning...not on an errand, or to the doctor, or hospital, or pharmacy...but to a local Aboretum in Boston.

It was suggested to me while I was doing laundry last week to go there. I love it there and hadn't been since my diagnosis.

The colors were amazing, even though it is really late Fall here, the temperature was mid 60's and a beautiful day.

I have not been having a good time. For the last week, I have felt alone and isolated even though I am around people. My surgery is this Friday and I am dreading it. It took a special person to suggest to me to go there and enjoy the Fall colors.

I posted one of the photos I took at the Aboretum on my expressions page. It is the first photo, with the red Maple leaves, and the blue and green and red reflections on the pond.

So Goto my expressions page to see.

blessings,
Amy

Good luck on your surgery Amy
As for autumnal colors, tho I live in Brooklyn and in an area WHERE every square inch is being converted to either medical facilities or million dollar condo/co=ops, I can still look out my apartment window at the several old, huge trees still standing which recently put on their cinematic show for me.Again, hoping your surgery goes well and your recovery quick....Steve
