Wow...we had to drive to Louisiana to borrow a car--and the rain was so bad we had to pull over at a hotel. That meant we had to get up at 4:30 am to get to the hospital for Layne's tests today. Wow, it was raining cats and dogs the whole way. But we are here and safe!

    Hey Betty
Sorry to here that the trip down was difficult, but your there now. I hope the tests go well and everything is a go for surgery. Is your husband haveing open surgery or MIE I
    cant remember.

Only one more week and believe me you will need to keep yourself very busy. If your anything like me the closer it got the more antsy I got.

Keep us posted on the tests and how things are going. I know it will go just fine. You do
have your BGPs you will need them for the first day at least the waiting is H()(, BUT ONCE THE DR. LOOKS YOU IN THE EYE AND SAYS ALL WENT WELL AND YOU CAN SEE HIMS SHORTLY IS WORTH
EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH UNTIL THAT MOMENT, REMEMBER IT JUST HAPPENED TO US.
MY NEW MOTTO IS NEVER SAY NEVER TO ME BECAUSE I KNOW WITH HOPE ALMOST ANTHING CAN BE DONE.
KEEP THE FAITH, REST, AND EAT TO KEEP YOUR STRENGTH UP. YOU WILL NEED IT.
    GOD BLESS
    KATH
