    Popsicles, Yogurt, Watermelon....
HI Donna. I'm so glad this resolved on its own! Whew. You've been through so much.

Have you read the side effects of the anti nausea pills? Some say they cause constipation or blockage. You mentioned taking four different kinds. You might want to eliminate the bad guys!

Hey girl, you can get fluids from many sources. Many foods are mostly water plus you could eat Popsicles, Yougurt, Watermelon and other juicy fruits. Have you ever had Sweet Tea? I drink it all afternoon. I make a gallon every two days just for me. It costs so little... just sugar and 6 tea bags. :o) I love warm apple cider with spices. YUM

Glad you're okay now. Maybe you could have your girls or hubby post a quick note on your Facebook if you're under the weather again.

    Hi Craig, Kim and Diane!!
I drink sweet tea alot, I love a nice big glass of tea, especially green tea with some berry in it. My computer was in the shop at the same time, so my girls couldn't get on for me this time, they were having the worse computer withdrawals lol...god forbid they aren't texting while being on the computer for more then a few days!

Thanks so much for all those kind words Craig, my lion, this chicky needs to stay out of the hospital for awhile!

It's good too see you too Kim, how have you been doing lately? you still doing the oxy?

Thanks for those tips Diane, I didn't know you could liquids through food as well...that warm apple cider sounds yummy!!

I'm about to run out to the Sternwheel Festival, my daughter is in the parade, I hate going anywhere with this fanny pack on, but I was in hospital when I got admitted on July 4, I missed her first parade, then this one just this past Labor Day, and I refuse to miss this one...so am off to get dressed~

Hope you all have a happy, blessed day!!!

    Donna,
So happy to hear you are back on the recovery road again. Wish I would have known that you were in OSU again. We were down there last week to see DH's aunt who was in the hospital for colon resection. :( She's home now and recovering. But I wanted to tell you that when DH was in the ONC. office for his last visit after chemo was complete I specifically asked about scar tissue causing blockage (thinking of your issues). He said he's never heard of the scar tissue causing a problem with blockage or anything else. I was surprised at that after what you went through due to scar tissue.

I am so glad you are feeling better. Take care and know that you have been missed, again.

    adhesions
    Hi,

Maybe its just the words we are using. I had a blockage in the small intestine from adhesions from a hysterectomy. I think adhesions are scar tissue. Not sure, just thought I'd throw it out there. I know alot of people who have had blockages and the doctors say they are common in people who have had abdominal surgery.

    Thanks for asking
I had been feeling better, but today I'm having HUGE stomach pain again. Whatever! I'm so over that. I was afraid this afternoon that I was going to have to give in and call the doctor/go to the ER. Hopefully I can hang on and not do that! Thanks for asking.

    *hugs*

    OoOoO....
...Don't wait too long on that Gail, that's what started with me, the abdominal pain for a couple days, and then BOOM!! big time traveling pain which led to my obstruction, make sure you're still going regularly, then you know there is no obstruction. Good luck, and hope you feel better Gail!

    Hey There
Would you mind not going into the hospital so much woman? I bet they have you at a discounted rate by now, are you collecting the frequent stay miles or something? LOL

Glad you are better now. I got an email from Buzzard asking about you and I actually felt bad that I didnt know you were sick. I need to give you a call so we can catch up.

I am doing okay, waiting for my 3 month check up (next month) a bit worried, but not because of anything going on just its the mark that the cancer came back last year ya know, so if I can get past this one, then its going to make me a whole lot more relaxed about things and I can get on with gettin on.

Glad your back, and feeling better, hope the family is good too.
    Talk to you soon
    Love ya

Welcome back and I am glad you are feeling better and that it is only scar tissue. Sometimes to stay hydrated I put an airborne in my water. It gives it some kick,
