Thought of a B side hit for the new punk band
    Aquafor
    Is what you need
Drop by drop they give it out
    You just can't win
    And so it goes
    Each day the skin frys
    These things they call rads
    It's gonna make you cry
    I've had the burns
    The reds and the pinks
    One thing for sure

I love Queen. I only have
I love Queen. I only have one CD but it has what I think is the best of Queen. Oh, I'm wrong I have 2 CDs. My little niece and I used to challenge other family members to races in the pool and then being good winners we would sing We are The Champions of the World at the top of our lungs. And there are so many other of their songs that I just love. I knew that there was a reason I am drawn to Moopy, Tasha, and you.

    I love Queen
I've owned all Queen's albums at one time or another, on CD or cassette or even (gulp!) 8-track. Kinda sorry I bought "Jazz," but what the hey. My favorite of all time is "Queen II," followed by "News of The World." Aside from the music, what I always appreciated most about Queen was their steadfast refusal to take too themselves seriously.

And if I were granted the power to bring one musician back from the dead, Freddie would be back among us today.

    Queen Tribute
We ought to have a Freddie/Queen tribute somewhere in the band performance. Maybe at the end? Instead of We Are the Champions, sing "We are the Survivors....what do y'all think?

    Patty, I missed you!
So sorry, my friend. I completely missed your post--as well as you while you were on vacation.

Backup singer would be great. Lynn and Pammy and you can also be featured in some songs, you know, like Diana Ross and the Supremes.

What's your rocker babe name going to be? Also, you do have to have some hair thing going.

This is looking like we're going to need a hair stylist/colorist.

    Thanks a lot!
Do you know how those Supreme backups ended up?!? Yikes. Just call me "little l."

    Keep Pounding, It's Practice
Yep, this rocker babe gig is a full-time job, especially if you're the featured performer. Just be sure to hang on to some hormonal rage to fuel your performances (and ours). Don't go all mellow on us. Besides, we need your tattoos as well.

    Christmas Release??
Sorry Xmas Girl, your birthday is still a ways off. Don't worry: we won't forget.

We better get going to avoid a holiday release date. We don't have any Christmas material! How many tracks do we need, anyway? Didn't anybody want to manage us? This is getting very stressful.

    Somehow I think hormonal
Somehow I think hormonal rage is going to be around for a while, and even if i do take a med to mellow me out i will skip the dose on performance day. Speaking of Tattoos, maybe I should design one of the band.

    Joe - OMIGOSH!
You, too? No cassettes tapes nor 8-tracks for me. (My parents owned an 8-track player, I never did.)

All VINYL - now, lots on CD; but, not all (regrettably). Do have the CD box set "The Queen Collection" - includes a "bonus track":

"Thank God It's CHRISTMAS" (for real! not kidding!)

I cried when Freddie passed - the first time, ever, for any sort of "celebrity"... Then again, for Frank Zappa. Just those two. So, when I read the last sentence in your post above - my heart skipped a beat. Saw Queen live every time they played here; if two nights, often went both.

Favorite albums: all. Can't choose. Forgive "Jazz"...

Other songs for Moopy Mohawk's band to "cover":
    We Will Rock You
    Now I'm Here
    Save Me
    Don't Stop Me Now
    I Want To Break Free
    UNDER PRESSURE (*)
    I'm Going Slightly Mad
I Want It All ("and I want it NOW!")
    The Miracle
    Keep Yourself Alive

    OK, I'll stop...

    Kind regards, Susan
Fanatical Queen Fan Who Misses Freddie Mercury

(*) David Bowie, another one... Yep, I was a glam rocker, back in the day...

Yes, dear - A MUST! You know it, and you know why.

AWESOME IDEA! See? You're brilliant! That's why it's YOUR band - and, nobody should forget that!

Love it - "We Are The Survivors"! Freddie would be proud!

Always knew you were a class act
I still miss Freddie more than Frank Zappa, but just barely.

So happens I bought two Zappa karaoke MP3s online just yesterday: my favorite, "Broken Hearts Are For A55holes" (which I used to sing a capella with my little sister back in the day) and "Bobby Brown."

Haven't sung them for Moopy just yet...

    That would be awesome,T.J!

I would like to see your tattoos. Maybe you have photos that I have missed...When I am done with treatment, I may get a tattoo. Not sure what design, though, or where.

    We need a PRODUCER!
Joe is Business Manager. I'm Promotions Manager.

We need a PRODUCER for recordings.

You know what's the MOST stressful? I think this one is post # 96. Sheesh. Might be a record, in and of itself. (Pun intended, even if lame.)

    Kind regards, Xmas Girl

P.S.: See my post to Joe, above. Queen: "Thank God It's Christmas"

    More about Moopy Mohawk's band...
Oooh, we've added two back-up singers: Pammy & Lynn. With Lynn doing double duty as Archivist - great idea, Lynn!

Songwriters - yeah, Cat. Maybe Claudia, too, if she's willing. Gotta get Cat involved somehow - she's got FOUR tattoos! Perfect! Cat could also be the Photographer - c'mon, Cat! Step up!

A travel expert could be Tour Manager. And a self-professed fashion diva could be in charge of Costumes, Hair & Makeup.

Need musicians. TJ Tantrum on drums, so far... Anybody play guitar? Keyboards? Anything other instruments?

More names to consider - Moopy Mohawk gets to choose:
    Princess Warriors
    Journeywomen

    Kind regards, Susan

I am willing to write AND
I am willing to write AND sing! I have never met a Karaoke bar I didn't like! LOL Once, when I visited inlaws in a tiny town in Idaho, the family had actually reserved a big table at the local bar for me, as they had hired a Karaoke DJ! It was so hilarious!I made my sister in law and cousins sing with me ( they were DRAGGED kicking and screaming, but a pitcher or 2 of beer helped the bravado) I can't remember who came up with the name, but someone called us "Chen and the Cherry-okies"...as in they were karaoke virgins! LOL

I actually sang in a casino in Lake Tahoe when I was there for the 4th of July...I was in a ballad kinda mood and sang The Carpenters "SuperStar" written by Leon Russell. And people got up and danced, thank you very much!! Ok, they were drunken gamblers, but they danced! LOL

So I am sooo in!!! Let the games begin!!!

    Hugs,
    Claudia

Uh-oh, I forgot the not-so-supreme ending. Good point, band archivist.

    Little L--I like it!
