Well, we had a very bad day we got a call at 6:30 AM 1ST day post op, we had quite a scar, hospital called and said that Jeff was having trouble breathing, lungs were "SICK" as the doctor said, and thought his heart was having trouble, but that was not a issue, our issue was him not responding. I wasn't prepared for this part. I got good news about noon, stating that his vitals had come up, and his oxgyen level was doing better, they felt like this was a fluke thing like an inflamation like when you get an inflamationof the thumb or something, so after calling in several doctors and checking on things he has done a turn around of 75% since 6 am this morning.

I just got back from seeing him at 8:00 pm and he was so much better, he is responding more, knows when we are in the room, and wants to talk but cant,

Today has been a very tough day not knowing whats going to happen.

I have cried, worried and just wondered how i was going to get through another shift of not knowing the worst.

Yes William, I will never "fuss" with him again, I am sorry but after going through this kind of surgery makes you think twice about the things you onced fussed over, and the little things that use to be big things, are not so much as a worry now, when you know you have the "C" word life just doesn't mean whole lot of fussing or arguing you look at life as if you never want it to end, and knowing the road we have walked starting from April 1 to now, was a piece of cake, having surgery wasn't so easy, and the days to follow.

I know we will get through this but I didn't know it was going to be like this, I should have listened more to William.

Will update more later

    Lori,

I am so sorry to hear that Jeff had such a rough day, well and you too. I can't imagine getting a phone call like that at 6:30 in the morning. I am very glad to hear that his vitals are up and he is improving. My thoughts and prayers are always with you guys, and will be throughout recovery over the next few weeks. Hang in there lady, you're doing great!
