    Ah...age
My 'baby' is 30! It doesn't seem possible that she has 3 kids herself. Time really gets away doesn't it?

    Getting Old
Yeah, sometimes I feel like I'm getting old also, but I keep thinking it's better than the alternative. My baby is 32 and my grandson just turned 14 and is going to high school already. Time goes by so fast that it's scary!! LOL My son lives in Colorado, while I live in NY and it's hard to see him only once a year, but I just booked a trip to see him. I haven't met the girl he lives with and her two girls so I'm really excited about this trip.

We all need to take a step back and slow down to really enjoy, life especially after going thru this lousy cancer!

    Old is GOOD
Some people I know worry about getting older. I would worry about NOT getting older.
    22 is a good age, I miss 22, and 23, and 24....

My oldest just turned 29 so yup I feel old, but I feel blessed that I have seen my kids grow. I now have a grandbaby on the way from my "baby" so I am very excited. I do feel that I've aged since all of this has started last December. I've gotten more wrinkles and just look like I've been through a lot. But I still have the same sense of humor.

    I know the feeling
I will be turning 40 in exactly 2 weeks! I can't believe it. My baby is 10, I have a 12 year old (the two NFL players in the picture) and my oldest is 15! I can't believe it! Seems like just yesterday they were wagging behind me in diapers!

I never thought I would celebrate getting to be an old woman, but when it was in danger, I decided it was a GREAT goal!!!

My daughter just turned 29...sigh...my baby would have been 25....I am DEFINATELY on the road to 'old sucker'!!!!!

    one good thing
One good thing about this group (us) is that we never moan about getting older!

Birthdays are truly a cause for celebration -- not something to be hidden or embarrassed about.

    Used to dread my birthday....
I am 38, almost 39 and I used to dread approaching that big 40....but after all I have been through, I am going to party my butt off when that day arrives and I will be proud of it!!

This post makes me smile. Celebrate every day with your "baby," and don't worry about getting older. In our world, that's a very good thing!

    Age!
Mercy! You all sound so YOUNG! I don't have any children---hysterectomy at age 39 and couldn't have carried a baby ever. I'm not mournig that, please undeerstand, I taught elementary schol for 34 yeara and had lots of kids. Better, I have three amazing nieces that are like my own children and the oldest is 56! She always wanted to be like me, sooo she got colon cancer at the same time I did Feb. '09. She doesn't want to be like me so much any more. I've been retired for 15 years and until a couple of years ago I thought I was quite healthy....so much for 'thinking'.
I don't feel as if I am nearly 71, but alas and alack, I am. Life goes on, age notwithstanding. I still plan to enjoy to the fullest what ever is left. (I realy want to sky dive, but my husband says he will lock me in the attic before he lets me do that! Spoil sport!)

Age ain't nuthin but a number.

    LIve, llove, laugh..
