Just checking in with you, havent heard from you in a while, how ya doing hon? How are the kids doing? I almost called you the other day, it was a really bad crying day for me and I knew you had just gotten off your chemo and didnt want to be so negative. This waiting feels like its killing me, and here I will find I stressed myself out all for nothing (I HOPE ANYWAY). But just wanted to see how you are doing?

    Hey Beth!!!
I've been doing well! Just alot of softball games going back and forth with my daughter, double header last night!

You know, whether I'm on chemo or not, I can still talk :) You can call me anytime, I may be a bit of a zombie when unhooked for a few days, but I bounce back, and can stil listen anytime, don't ever feel like you can never talk to me, I'm here...I hate the thought of you crying and not being there.

And stop worrying over those pesky tests, I know the angst it drives people, I try not to think about it, because I'm afraid the worrying and added stress will bring the cancer on more, and just focusing on getting your mind on something else will help you much more, I know the tests are scary, and easier said then done to not worry about them, I have one coming up July 1, but I will be positive and just try not thinking about it, I don't want to jinx or bring anything wrong, I believe your tests will come out wonderful, you just have to keep thinking that, you're doing great! You don't want to add any negative energy to it though, just keep thinking rosy thoughts!

Remember, call me whenever you want, if I'm home, I will talk to you anytime, if not, I will call you back when I get home, but when you're crying especially, just pick up that phone, and I'll try my best to cheer you up and such! Your test is in 2 days, just have some herbal teas, light some candles in your room, some incense like I do, and it relaxes me while I watch some TV or read, lights off, and just even pray, you'll be fine :)

    Talk soon and Hugssss!

    Incense
    Hi, Donna

Didn't mean to break into your conversation, but I read where burning incense is a definite carcinogen and has properties that can lead to cancer. Just wanted to let you know that. I'm out of here....sorry to butt in.

    Absolutely!
Yes, that is what I read. It's really bad for us to burn incense. The carcinogens in those have proven cancerous over time. Wish I could remember where I read that, but I did read it and just had to let you know, Donna. I used to burn them years ago, but let them go for candles instead - the smoke would just eat me up inside the house.

Candles are OK....I"ve seen nothing negative on those....and I burn candles all the time. Yankee Candles primarily, because they have so many great scents.

    Candles and Benzine toxity
I used to light candles (scented) all over my house. When I was DX'd with this crap, I had an environmental toxity blood test done and I had a severe reaction to benzine, which is found in common scented candles AND plastic! Freaked me out so I have not lit candles lately. I still use plastic but I don't heat anything in the microwave anymore in it.

I think the newer soy candles are ok, but I haven't had a chance to research yet. I will soon and keep you guys posted.

Here is a link about candles and benzine:
