What about Chat?

I have posted this before, I don't think anyone responded. I called and e-mailed the webmaster. Why has it been down for so long. Technically, it isn't that hard to put up chat rooms. Anyone know? Also since chat rooms are relatively easy, I can't help but wonder, could we have a colon cancer chat room? Any interest, any one wonder?

I'm guessing but I suspect they are having server problems. I have a blazing fast computer with broadband IP yet the downloads are very slow. It might be better to start your own blog then a chat.

    Pam,
I tend to agree with you. In this day and age it shouldn't take this long to fix. I have two opinions. 1) There isn't going to be a chat room anymore or 2) maybe they are having funding issues?

    I really miss it too

I have been in CCA Colon Cancer Alliance but no one real time chats. And the Colon Club. Neither one real time chats all though they are nice places to go.

The CCA does have a chat (which they say every Wednesday night) but I got on there and did a test and I could chat (even though I was talking to myself!) I have asked that question in one of the "groups" but no one has answered.

Maybe you and I could get on there (CCA) and do a test! Set up a date and time then we could tell the other if they want to. Course I'd ask the person that runs the Wednesday chat's first.

    Pam,
I meant My CRC connections in stead of CCA.

I've been a member of CCA for over a year and the chat room is open when ever you want to use it. The CCA group isn't as talkative as the folks here. We do have scheduled chats on Wed. that normally cover a specific topic. CCA just moved to the new website recently so things have been a little disorganized but people are in the chat room most Wed. now. The Wed. chat is at 9pm Eastern time.

I miss the chat room here. It is a lot harder to catch up with people now.

would be happy to try that, I can't do anything this Wednesday, my sister is coming to town and I will be out. My husband is the ceo and founder of a software company and he has told me that chat rooms are fairly easy - technologically. His speculation is that they may have some legal problems. Let me know what and when and where I can go on line and we can give this a shot.
