Hello,
I received this e-mail today from the Colon Cancer Alliance. Can anyone help, I am not really fluent in Spanish, I speak Portuguese and "Spanglish"... If you are interested in speaking to this lady, please let me know. Also, I have never had radiation treatments, or FOLFOX so I don't know how much advise I could give.
Thanks! Let me know if you can help.

"Hi Susan!

Given that you are my only Stage IV Buddy Giver who speaks Spanish, I have a special request of you: I received a referral for a Buddy from Blue Cross in MD. A RN Caseworker there has a patient with Stage IV undergoing Chemo and Radiation who needs some support. S Would you be willing to make one call to her? Given you are in Alaska, if you want to call her in the am your time, it will work out perfectly for her because of the time difference. She is just very anxious and depressed right now, and with her lung capacity changing due to her mets to them, she has been resistant to going to a local Spanish speaking support group. Maybe some more encouragement in that vein would not hurt.

Kindly,
Jacqueline

Hi Susan: I speak Spanish (I don't know if fluent would be a good descriptor) but I can get by. I'd be happy to help if I can. Monica
