I just wanted to give hope to others. I was dx in Oct 06 with stage iiic colon cancer, just finished up 6 months of chemo and today walked in the Soleburner for Cancer research in Appleton, WI where I live. Yesterday got my NED results. Yes there is hope, keep praying and think positive.

Congratulations. Prayers and positive thinking definitely help. I've actually made a vision board that I look at everyday. It says "CANCER FREE" all over it.

I did the same thing last year after finishing my breast cancer treatments....Komen race for the cure...with my bald head and all!!!! I was told I was quite the inspiration...there were at least 300 (breast cancer...sorry!) survivors there that morning. I also wore my BLUE ribbon pin....

    Hugs, Kathi

My ribbon was red, white, and blue although soemone told me it should be brown..it ws a joke, us colon cancer patients have to laugh at ourselves.
