It was 2 years ago today that I awoke from my resection surgery to the news that none of the stuff they removed looked like it had any cancer. Subsequent lab results confirmed this!!!

So, doing it for me...

YEA YEA YEA YEA YEA YEA YEA!!!!!!!

NAKED HAPPY DANCE!!!!!

Hugs, Kathi

Congrats Kathi!!! Thrilled for you! How often did you have CT scans as follow-up? Just curious about the standard frequency for follow-up scans. Annually or every 6 months?

I plan on getting leied (sp) tomorrow in Hawaii. so I'll do my naked happy dance for you with just flowers on.
I really am very happy for you to have reached 2 years. That is a real milestone!
    Dance on.

Yea Kathi! What a milestone. I hope you had a margarita to celebrate! Glad you could do the naked dance for yourself this time! My 5 year since my resection day was May 1 and I totally forgot about it! How about that? Keep on truckin'.
    Love,

I can't speak for Kathi, but I had scans every 3 months until I was NED for a year or so, then it went to every 4 months. After 2 years NED it went to every 6 months which I will continue to do for a couple of more years (until 4 years NED). I hope that helps. After that I think they will just watch my CEA, which is a good marker for me.

    Congratulations, Kathi!

And I am so sorry for your recent struggles. I have been AWOL for a while but was so sorry to learn of your daughter's passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Hugs,
