    Kathi,

Your poem and remembrance of your daughter is so very touching. Our children should not go before we do. My husband lost his son 9 years ago at the age of 26. The pain seems to get easier to deal with, but you never forget.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We are all semi-colons together!

Kathi, what a beautiful poem,I know that your daughter is in a wonderful place ,she is at peace and happy, and she will be protecting you from Heaven.

Thank you, dearheart. I picture her smiling and laughing like she did as a little girl....

    Hugs, Kathi

    Kathi,
It's hard for me to see the keyboard through my tears; what a touching poem. The loss of a child is so painful to contemplate, I wish you strength and peace as you continue to cope. Judy

Thank you, Judy. I have learned to admit it when I am sad...thanks for understanding!

Kerry, thank you so much for sharing...I know that I will not forget her...but hope that the raw edge disappears. It is wonderful to have such a large family here....it sooths my soul.

    Hugs, Kathi

Try to remember the good times with your daughter. I can't imagine what you are going through. I did lose a son when he was 9 mos. old. That was 17 years ago. It got easier each day. He was a premature baby and had a rough time for the nine mos, that he was here.
