low back pain

i had NonHodgkins lymphoma in my lower spine and i had terrible chronic pain in my lower back and it ran all the way down my right leg. i have been clean of the cancer for about 5 years now but the pain has never gone away it is not as bad but it is still there i have seen several doctors and some want to take dractic Action and some don't know what to think has anyone had this problem and how did it get fixed
