I bought a book called 'I'd rather do chemo than clean out the garage', by Fran Di Giacomo. Very funny, with a lovely upbeat attitude. I don't know if others have already come across this book. It's a little flip/cycnical in parts, but it sure lifted my spirits. I especially liked her description of having 'vertical days' and 'horizontal days' during chemo. And her (tongue-in-cheeK) bumpers stickers for chemo clubbers.

Tara (who is having a vertical day!)

I read this about 2 years ago. I think it's time to pull it out again. I could use a laugh.

Here's the link to Amazon.com where you can get the book for $12.03 (I believe the 3 cents is Bud's contribution):

Not advertising for Amazon here - just wanted to facilitate folks finding it if interested. I will be ordering my copy today! thanks for the great tip, Tara.

Wishing each of you a TOTALLY VERTICAL day!

I really like this- it will be my new toast. I have a Christening coming up, however, where I am the Godmother, so I may not use it there!
